Hey, is there a Boiler thread for 2022 yet? Nope. I usually wait until a while after the season ends in case there are transfers in/out the program. I'm not a fan of the edit button for these things 😭 Unless someone else was looking to make one? I don't hold the monopoly on this team 😁 |

I need help with some detective work. According to Dave’s tweet, 14 players are returning (I went through the roster, that’s everyone minus the 5th years and the Seniors). The only two newcomers I know of are Lizzie Carr and Brielle Warren. Are there two others 2022’s that haven’t been announced or are we picking up two transfers?
I have searched everywhere two possible 2022 announcements and haven’t found any.

OK so this is my issue with all the fifth years. Evans redshirted and learned and developed and became a great setter then Haley Bush redshirted learned and became a grade setter. In theory Purdue should’ve done the same thing but now they’re going to throw a 5th year senior in the mix and I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the other setters go in the portal next. To be clear I don’t actually blame the girls that are doing this…they’ve been given an opportunity to transfer and do what they want I just think this is the mess we’re going to do it for the next three years

Grace is from Lafayette and a McCutcheon grad, maybe she just wants to finish up school at home and Purdue could use the depth (Renner has a rebuilt ACL or something *not a medical professional* 😂, and that is always in the back of my mind.) |

I don’t see anyone other than Renner taking over the setting duties next fall. I could be wrong, but Dave has said in the past that Renner’s time is next. Could get interesting though!
However, this eliminates one of the two mystery spots I discussed earlier today. One to go 👀
