It was such an uncharacteristically bad performance for her, makes me wonder if maybe she has an undisclosed injury? I don’t think it’s “undisclosed”. It was obvious at the VNL. Was her wrist still heavily taped? I don’t remember taping seems the same for both. she still hit 50% at vnl so must be mental or some more intensive injury (hope not)

If anyone finds the full game, I'd love to see it.

Slight limp at one point sluggish, probably not doing drills. Dunno.

Btw I'm scared for Italy - Turkey... Hope the girls can stay focused and play high level. The match was massively trending for hours in Turkey at #1 and it got...politicized after a while and then it just started to get ugly... There was a specific religious person (equivalent to like a pope) that made sexist statements towards the girls and it really got viral. It's weird because the girls received support from most parties that rule in Turkey, including the progressives but also Erdogan's party and Erdogan himself who called them after the drama to congratulate them but ironically it's the leader of the organization he backs financially that made the statement... It was kinda a mess after, as politicians from the conservatives to the progressives were using the girls to talk about the current state of the country. It went as far as some even made xenophobic statements about China and the treatment of Uyghurs (Turkic speaking group in Xinjang, Western China) in China, though this was only the neo-nationalist party that isn't too big. Turkey is not very stable as of late. The dynamics of the country are strange and start resembling the USA slightly, just not nearly as stable, on one side you have the super progressives that are all pro human rights, LGBTQ+ rights, secularism etc and then you have the conservatives which well, well they rule... I don't feel the need to explain. The conservatives are massively losing support lately because they've been implementing islamic policies that resemble some of the more middle eastern and sub-saharan countries, which were never popular here and people started rioting. Turkey is like a half Authoritarian regime that knows it will lose its authority, the dictatorship is about to fall and they are becoming more angry every day. I'm honestly scared what will happen prior to the voting of 2023, how will a dictator accept defeat... Latest opinion polls: ibb.co/rkM3MyL As you can see minus Optimar (his own funded company XD) there is no poll foreseeing an Erdogan victory but instead a CHP victory (center-left, social-democratic/secularist party) He thought he really could be Turkish Putin forever. Sorry for getting too political but this just got big for Turkey and I wanted to tell more about the situation in detail if anyone notices something strange from the Turkish girls in the upcoming matches. They are becoming historical figures for the LGBTQ+ (Ebrar) and even women in general for Turkey. I just hope the girls can keep their cool. Can't believe we even reached this point that we had drama after a historic victory. *insert clown emoji* how much frustration economic crisis can stir...

It helps put things in perspective by knowing the climate there.
