It's called a Golden Slam, and 3 players have accomplished this feat; Serena, Rafael, and Steffi Graf was the first to do it. Four players, you forgot Andre Agassi. Anyway, the only player to complete a legitimate Golden Slam is Steffi Graf, in 1988. The others have a career Golden Slam, though. All of those players have won all four majors and a gold medal...Steffi is the only player to do it in the calendar year, a feat much more difficult...

However, if we only consider gold medal, Federer has one too. He won the gold medal in doubles in 2008

Myhouse911 is correct. The Golden Slam is winning all 4 majors and Olympic gold in the same calendar year. Steffi Graf is the only player to ever do it.

Tsitsipas upset by Humbert. Too bad, would've really liked to have seen the top 4 reach the SF's.

Djokovic cruised into the quarterfinals 6-3, 6-1. He's also playing in the mixed doubles event, and he and his partner also advanced.

Excited for Bencic guaranteeing herself and Suisse two medals. Same for the Croats in Men’s Doubles. Hopefully Djokovic can win both his semis now!

Wow, Djokovic won 6-2, 6-0. He's been more dominant in his last two matches than he was in the firs two.

I had a good feeling about her coming into the tournament. I thought she would have a solid run as well, and I think has a better chance of gold in doubles than singles...but I also thought this type of court would really have benefitted a few others, all of whom sputtered and stalled like my Ford Pinto....

Once the draw unsurprisingly fell apart, I was hoping for a Bencic-Svitolina final. With the hopes that both would use this event’s result as a launching pad for a more consistent and hopefully rewarding WTA career. But Svitolina failed me haha.

I stopped paying attention to the women's tournament when Osaka lost. There's so much going on at the Olympics that I have to be judicious with my time. I'm actually more interested in the mixed doubles event than the women's singles because of Djokovic.
