Great for them. Bad for everyone else. Egonu won't have another crapper like this. Egonu hasn't been other-worldly in any Pool play match, frankly. I have to think she'll bring it in the knockouts though, we'll see. She misses Wolosz and Carlini I guess. Although she's looked great with Malinov in years past. It would be great for the USA is some version of this Egonu keeps showing up though but something tells me that won't happen. She's a stud when it counts. |

Egonu is overrated when it comes to NT play. The setting severely limits her and she makes more errors when she’s frustrated

Where did I say Italy was throwing this match? I said they are not playing 100%. That's not the same as "throwing" matches. Egonu has incredible hands... I've never seen an opposite set that well and she does that time and time again.
