China sweeps Italy 3-0 without Zhu Ting. China gets swept by Turkey and USA with Zhu. Korea has advanced to the QF's with Russia Japan-DR is an elimination match. Brazil tops Serbia to win Pool A. #WhatIsLife Would anyone have predicted these things just 1 month ago? I hate it but I also love it at the same time. |

Okay sure, Italy is choosing to play at 60% today just so they can have a tougher road to medaling. Let’s stay at that narrative Apparently the fact that teams aren't always capable of delivering their 100% potential for all their matches is something that is beyond your comprehension. I completely agree with you on that one, but that credit goes to China because they brought it and made them not play at their best. At this level it is incredibly hard to constantly play your best which results show. I thought you were indicating that Italy is choosing to not be at 100%, it that was the case than this was a misunderstanding |

I thought Brazil was quite capable of beating Serbia, but I still favored Team Bosko. And for Mother Russia, I'm taking a little credit on that one. Even before the Olympics, I kept cautioning that we shouldn't accept the premise they wont' be in the QF's. They are messy, but quite dangerous. |

Italy isn’t that good yall. I’ve been saying this forever. You can’t be amazing with this bad of setting. Malinov has had some decent matches this Olympics. Seem like both setters struggled to connect with Egonu which only led to both parties making adjustments that didn't get any better. I thought Egonu's attitude had improved when things didn't go her way and that she had moved past that part of her career but it came roaring back today. Disappointing for her. Time to change my name to +Goncho |
