Canada and Puerto Rico too.. all of the bubble teams lol what's a bubble team? the ones that miss out on continental qualification (or potentially will) and have to rely on their ranking. The top 3 asian teams W/D takes away two ranking spots for qualification from the "bubble" teams

I don't think the Philippines have ever been in a major tournament. Australia was at one WCH before and the Olympics they hosted. Either way... someone get ready for a cupcake!

Either way... someone get ready for a cupcake! I don’t think I’ve seen Australia since Group 3 of WGP was a thing, and they were getting beat easy by those teams 🥴 but maybe they’re better now

Serbia, Netherlands, Poland already qualifed.
I guess Brazil/Argentina will qualify from south america, USA/Dominicana in NORCECA, Italy/Turkey in Europe, Thailand/Kazakhstan in Asia, and Kenya/Cameroon in Africa.
Then we have 11 spots remaining, China/Japan/Korea will take three, Russia will have one for sure, then according to the rankings it's Belgium/Puerto Rico/Germany/Bulgaria/Colombia/Canada/Czechia

The Euro's will make it fluctuate a lot. They have more games than NORCECA and CSV will have. Canada/PR/Mexico will be hoping that USA withdraws or doesnt send a good team.

Thailand is between Bulgaria and Colombia, and Kazakhstan is right after Czechia, so European complaints are again unjustified as usual (if say China and Japan go to AVC and qualify from there, the next two would include Thai/Kaz anyways).

The problem is that we should see Greece/Czech Republic/Croatia/Mexico/Slovenia/Thailand/Kazakhstan competing against each other for one of those last spots. I think Thailand would have a good chance to make it out of a grouping like that for example, but there's no way in hell that Kazakhstan would.

I rethought that once I remembered they got three auto spots. NORCECA might be the real loser here. Esp if USA send a strong team.

Wait.. Doesn't Pan-Am-Cup affect World rankings as well?
The World Championships will use the World Rankings after the end of 2021, so there could even be adjustments after these Continental Events. Messy.

I don't think so, only the continental ranking right? continental championships are part of the FIVB rankings. They have a "35" weight. (VNL is 40, WCH 45, OG 50)
