It says a lot, since this Juniata team is still very good lol.

Loras takes set 2 from #5 Carthage, 1-1; set scores 25-18, 23-25.

Carthage takes it in 4.

Even more surprising, Otterbein recovers from their loss to Wittenberg with a 5-set win over Augsburg (after augsburg's 4 set upset over Calvin). 

Going to be a very weird year.

Connecticut College (D3 NESCAC) has now postponed all athletic events since 9/7 and through 9/12. Athletic facilities are closed. Campus basically shutdown. Rumor mill saying a shutdown of Fall sports??

Not sure. Just heard that from a friend. They are level 3 procedures of 4, with 4 being the most restrictive. No non required travel in Level 3 so no sports.

Trinity looked good. Eau Claire up 2-0 over St. Olaf. Good match. 3rd set just starting.

Conn had 70-something new positives in consecutive days of testing with more expected. It's not good. They might be on the sidelines for a while.

CMS beat #1 Trinity and #2 Emory yesterday. Ranked #6 this week, you have to think they're going all the way to #1 on Wednesday.

I know fall sport practices resumed at Conn this weekend and their field hockey team is scheduled to play us on Tuesday so hopefully it's settled down there now.

Into week 3 of competitions and the later starting conferences (NESCAC) are all a few matched into the season. I'm sure it will take all of September's matches to have a reasonable pool of data but the landscape should start to take shape for rankings.
