Correct me if i am wrong: just because a vball player can touch at a certain height, doesn't mean they can hit at that height? You is correct. Gold star for you lol I'm fairly certain Alhassan reached 11'0 (more or less) but she doesn't swing at that height |

Gold star for you lol I'm fairly certain Alhassan reached 11'0 (more or less) but she doesn't swing at that height If someone can "touch" 11 feet, it stands to reason they can block at 10' 6" or hit at 10' 6', etc. If someone "touches" 10' 6", it stands to reason they cannot block at 10' 6" or hit at 10' 6", etc. (SMH) |

The fire marshal has capped ticket sales at 7450, and last night for TCU the stands were only half full. Though we'll probably see more people tonight. I think we will see a lot of half full sellouts. Season ticket holders feeling confident in June about covid, but not much in August. That being said I agree the crowd should be bigger tonight. I also think it was more full than "half". The question of "sold" vs "scanned" comes up pretty regularly with regard to the UW hockey teams. I know for certain that at some point the UW athletic dept releases scanned vs sold numbers... though one may have to wait until next spring to get this weekend's numbers. |

Anyways Orzol is on my B1G Freshman of the Week watch, let's see how she does. Wonder if E. McGhee sees playing time again for Baylor or if they'll settle on Harrison on the pin instead. Wisconsin will want a big night from Orzol and Loberg considering how good at blocking Pressley/Skinner are on the left side.

Anyways Orzol is on my B1G Freshman of the Week watch, let's see how she does. Wonder if E. McGhee sees playing time again for Baylor or if they'll settle on Harrison on the pin instead. Wisconsin will want a big night from Orzol and Loberg considering how good at blocking Pressley/Skinner are on the left side. I imagine Elise gets the start for her blocking prowess but if she struggles again she will have a short leash. Also yea skinner is actually a ridiculously good left side blocker. Hoping she can slow down Robinson and Rettke on the slide. |

My original post was about Orzol. Anybody know what she touches? recent CEV stats has her jump touching around 10'1". (309 cm) linkshe's explosive as heck though, pretty springy and she has a lot of power. Wouldn't be surprised if she's swinging at or maybe just under 10' just by eye test. |

You will see an option for block that will give you a number of options. |
