#2 Wisconsin vs. #10 Baylor Saturday, August 28, 2021 - 6 PM Central Field House - Madison, Wisconsin Both teams are coming off wins last night: Wisconsin swept TCU and Baylor took out Minnesota in four. Who finishes the weekend undefeated? The volleyball forecast calls for a slug-fest featuring eight 2020-21 All-Americans: Pressley & Skinner (1st team) with Harrison (HM) on one side of the net, and Hilley & Rettke (1st team), Barnes (2nd team), Robinson (3rd team), and Loberg (HM) on the other. The weather forecast calls for sticky air and lots of floor wiping. At 6 PM, NOAA is predicting that a temp of 85 will combine with a dew point of 70 to give a head index in the 90s. Remember to hydrate. So at this point, everybody has scouted Van Der Mark, Skinner & Pressley; and Hilley, Rettke & Loberg. These players know each other. It’s going to be a question of who can adapt more quickly.

I’m used to seeing large rosters, especially Penn St. with an army of DS’s….. I’ve never seen 7 Middles on a single roster PLUS 4 additional players listed as OPP’s! It has to be the tallest roster in total inches of height in NCAA history😃

The large roster gives them a built-in cheering section.

The large roster gives them a built-in cheering section. well if that so called cheering section gives them too much of an advantage by over taking the 8,000 badger fans idk what to tell you lol

The large roster gives them a built-in cheering section. Especially in games like last night when there were maybe a few hundred badger fans remaining politely cheering here and there. And some Gopher fans but not too many. It was almost like Baylor brought along a student section.

I think Wisconsin is overall tougher at serving than Minnesota and Baylor was (at times) in shambles passing yesterday. That'll be a big thing for Baylor to overcome, especially against Wisconsin's block and defense. Pressley vs Robinson should be fun to watch. I think Wisconsin will be in-system a lot, but Baylor's block and defense is really good too. I have Wisconsin in five, but idk.
I'm excited to watch a high-quality match with an electric crowd though.

Just based on the performances yesterday, I picked badgers in 4. Baylor didn't look particularly good, yet, and neither did the gophers.
Preseason performances vary a lot though. I'm not particularly confident in any particular outcome. Interested to see how the badgers deal with a top 10 team.
