Kansas is back to being Kansas. UNLV looks pretty decent. 2-0 against the Big 12 this season.

So Washington blows up the Pac-12, tries to scapegoat USC, and then loses to Washington State today. Hard to have much sympathy for them.

You are right that we all know what actually happened. You just live in denial. I'm fine with the Pac-12 being gone. I'm just sick of the Washington fans (and some others but mostly them) continuing to lie about their role in the conference's collapse.

That's what it always come down to, though I've never heard a good reason why USC should allow itself to fall behind its fellow blue bloods. And anyway, the Pac-12 could have survived with better leadership. The Big 12 lost two USCs in Texas and Oklahoma, but they managed to survive.

Please don't encourage him.

the actual events, which were: 1) USC and UCLA announce they are leaving -- Pac-10 turns down ESPN's offer of $30 million per school per year and counters with $50 million, causing ESPN to walk away and go to the Big 12
2) Colorado announces it is leaving --Washington kills Apple deal that the remaining eight schools were willing to sign
3) Washington and Oregon announce they are leaving 4) Arizona, ASU, Utah announce they are leaving 5) Stanford and Cal announce they are leaving You disingenuously left out a few things along the way, as is your wont. It's remarkable how you just continue to live in your own alternate reality. And again, I'm no romantic about the Pac-12. Frankly, I don't miss that arrogant, poorly-run conference at all. Just admit Washington's role in what happened. Edit: also, are you somehow surprised that a prominent USC fan doesn't agree with the narrative that paints their school as the sole villain? Lol. I'm not a fan of USC, though I also don't have anything against them. Meanwhile, you are a Washington homer, so it's hard to take you seriously on this topic. The thing is, I just don't like dishonesty, and the narrative that the fans of former Pac-12 schools, especially Washington, keeps pushing has been very dishonest.

The rest of the Pac-12 steadily alienated USC to the point that they were looking for better options.
