As you've stated before and I don't disagree. The miscommunication in this mess comes from the President. Somehow he gave them the impression that they were to proceed across as they did but then staunchly prevented them from crossing and then got mad at agents who were trying to follow his lead and then let some into the country but then flew others back to Haiti. See? Clear as mud. What miscommunication? The administration has been clear since the beginning it would deport people crossing the southern border. They're using the deportation machine Obama built and Trump expanded. The CBP agents are acting exactly how the immigration system trains them to act. The American immigration system is what's unjust and we simply have an administration unwilling to order it to act otherwise. Excerpts from a recent Rolling Stone article ; www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/biden-plan-immigration-del-rio-haiti-1231488/"Golding was still in ICE detention more than four years later, when President Joe Biden — who campaigned on promises to erase the imprint Donald Trump left on the U.S. immigration system — was sworn into office." "it’s been hard to tell any difference between the president who made rabidly anti-immigrant policies the centerpiece of his administration and the president who vowed to reverse those policies." I'm saying the miscommunication is in the tone originally set by the present administration towards immigration.

How do 1000's of Haitian "asylum seekers" all show up together at the southern border ? Via chartered cruise ship ? This has already been well-documented on this thread and elsewhere. No. They're seeking asylum from a failed state (which we've had a huge hand in creating and we have both a moral and legal obligation to help them. Haiti went socialist by its own volition. These people are economic migrants; there is no group or government unit in Haiti trying to persecute or kill them. Send them back.

Also worth noting that the photographer that took the photos and videos says they were not using their reigns as whips. Still the same information, no matter how many times it is reposted.

Haiti went socialist by its own volition What are you talking about. People in Haiti only know how to rely on the government, compared to the Dominican Republic. In the D.R. when food is needed, somebody plants a garden, people get inspired and they all invest their time and effort in replicating the success. In Haiti they simply steal from other’s garden. Socialism at its finest.

They're using the deportation machine Obama built and Trump expanded Dude, this goes back to 1875. It's not like Obama invented the idea of excluding people from the US. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_Act_of_1875

These people are economic migrants When I was a kid, I remember the US used to love to talk about how it was built by people who came here looking for a better life -- aka "economic migrants". (Of course, even then there was the unstated "but not ALL people are welcome" caveat. I mean, I'm not 150 years old.)

Now we have the Democrats ringing the dinner bell (government benefits) on the border.

Now we have the Democrats ringing the dinner bell (government benefits) on the border. Which is why we have a Democratic administration sending armed agents on horseback to terrorize refugees on the border.

People coming here for economic reasons are the whole reason ANYONE is here at all. That's the reason people came across the Fing land bridge 25000 years ago, or whenever it really was. It's why Columbus sailed. It's why Jamestown was founded. Etc. Etc. But you don't want THESE people to have the same chances you or your ancestors did, so you whine about it and want to build Fing walls and sh*t. You make me sick.

Statistic from 2018 - Economic advances around the world mean that while fewer people live in extreme poverty, almost half the world’s population — 3.4 billion people — still struggles to meet basic needs, the World Bank said. Do we have to let so many people in so that it becomes as %*$#ty here as elsewhere ? Your stupidity make me sick.
