I just came over from the USC/UCLA match, which I thought would be the most competitive match of the Pac-12 tonight, and WHAT the heck is this? Cal took the first set?? I'll give you one guess what the problem is. Well I'll give you two guesses and you'll be right twice. |

Any link to this? Link in OP goes to UCLA / USC match as do the links in the Stanford and Cal schedule pages. When I click on the link in the OP, it takes me to the main PAC-12 Live page. Then you have to select the game on the right. You could try the link from the Cal tweet pac-12.com/womens-volleyball/event/2021/09/22/california-stanford?deeplink=yeseta: I get the links in the OP from the schedule page, usually of the home team so if it's wrong in one place, it's probably wrong in both, unless the team has changed the link since I put up the OP. But that's one reason I try to post the tweets; usually one of the teams' tweet link works |

Yay Lougeay! You know, I keep reading people saying bad things about her play. My take is that her initial move to dig balls seems just a tiny bit slow, but her commitment and dives to catch up and execute digs is awesome.

Oglivie only has 5 digs throughout the first two sets.. hopefully she can make better reads going forward.

I feel like the Sets to Francis need to be higher I tend to agree. But, I've also seen her let some of the sets drop lower before hitting them. I wouldn't be surprised if she developed a habit (with a smaller block) of hitting them from a lower point so that she can bang them down hard. Hitting hard from a higher contract point is harder to learn to do well (IMO). I dunno. |
