For the record, I was gonna vote for a Stanford win in 4 like I usually do (cuz when do they not drop at least one set?). But, the previous votes sucked me into the sweep-fever. Let's see if they can win the 4th in this match that is way closer than most of us think it ought to be.

its honestly rare nowadays to see athletes like kipp in the college game. unlike others, she doesnt merely rely on her height to be successful.

Oglivie should shuffle her feet to get to the balls, instead of reaching and never reach to the balls. Ok, I noticed every block-touch when the ball went up high, Stanford defense hardly was able to get to it, esp. Oglivie. Her feet looked like there was 20-ton of weight tied to the feet and she could only reach and flop to the floor before able to get to the balls. So many of these scenes happened. If she could just shuffle her feet, or dove for the balls, at least we could continue to play. Hope she works on that. |
