Nice commentary on Oglivie’s passing. I’m all for her taking more balls in receive

We’re finally setting the middle more. I like it.

Hentz was amazing. But, I think these DSs would look a lot better if they were playing behind the monster block that Hentz had in front of her during her entire Stanford career.

I hate to tell all the Stanford fans but you are suffering from post Hentz depression. She was a once in a lifetime defender. There’s no one on the farm who can do those things and it may be a long long time before any Cardinal can meet that standard

On the basis of this match, I guess Stanford and UC Davis should be ranked about the same.

It's hard to play well against a scrappy scrambling team that keeps throwing weird stuff at you.

It's like Stanford suddenly found the page in the playbook that included setting middles in front.

Was that a roundhouse on the overpass to Campbell?

It's like Stanford suddenly found the page in the playbook that included setting middles in front. I can see why they ran the slide so often (even with Vicini) to spread out the offense. Nice to see some adjustments tho

Nice to see some adjustments tho But, you have to establish the middle in front to try to take the opposing middle out of the block on the rallies where you *don't* set the middle. And, if it is working to score you have to keep using it. They hadn't been using it much at all. I guess this team is still just getting up to speed and building what they'll need to win in the future w/o overcomplicating things now.
