That was impressive by the badgers playing with a depleted lineup.
I had to take care of a flighty kitty by sitting with it after I scared it screaming early in the match so couldn't be near the computer. Thank the kitty.

Grace still struggling but okay enough. Orzol is 😳 in six rotations. Complete difference maker when she's on.

Just no rhythm for MN tonight. Kudos to Wisconsin's serving. Their hitters were also more willing to swing off the hands. MN does't really do that? Their collective choice (save Samedy perhaps) is to just keep it in play if I see a formed block in front of me. That's coached.
MN had some chances but each of the three games let a run of 5-7 points force them to play major catch up. I was please with Landfair's hitting in system. NOT OOS good gawd. Poor CC looked like she was flailing all over the place without any idea of where to go with the poor block formation, which is of course due to Wisconsin's good passing (which of course is party due to the fact that only Katie Myers provided even the slightest pressure on the Badgers's passing).
All these MN woes notwithstanding, I think WI will really struggle to win it all. Once the gophs are out, they're my fav.

I thought the gophers actually passed pretty well after the first set, better than the badgers did, so I was surprised the badgers hung with them.
But the badgers defense played much better from the second set on. 17 more digs is a big number.

It was a small window of opportunity, but MN needed to win that second set once they tied it at 11 after being down early and staying close the in the second.

Demps didn't have great stats, so I am hoping it is not an injury thing, just trying something else. Demps was about to return to the court when Kelly called her back and replaced her with Jardine. Fairly certain is wasn’t an injury.

Idk why Wisconsin fans are booing. This are incorrect calls. That was a bad miss. They are fans. Is this really a question?

The circle is complete Maryland > Wisconsin > Minnesota > Maryland Eat my socks Wisconsin will be shaky on the road in BIG (Specially if down 3 starters) They started at Maryland with a front row: OH1: Freshmen OH2: Freshmen M1: Rettke M2: Freshmen OPP: Sophomore Yes, and one match is not like all the other matches. Marquette is pretty good, big crowd of a majority of Marquette fans, and yeah. The league is a gauntlet, but we need to remember to enjoy good days and good matches for the Badgers. Today was a good day.

Hilley also had a good match. Her passers were running her around a bit after the first, but she managed. 41 assists is a goodish number.

Demps was about to return to the court when Kelly called her back and replaced her with Jardine. Fairly certain is wasn’t an injury. Demps came back in later. most likely a blocking change. Landfair was hitting like Demps wasn't even there, gave Jardine a shot. THey weren't using the RS all night for anything else

Just checked the stats. Barnes had 23(!) digs. There were a lot there that were not easy, either. Heck of a match for her!

Really impressed with Orzol's all around play.
The Gophers relapse to poor tip coverage and passing was discouraging.
Congrats to the Badgers, how the hell did they lose to Maryland?
