It used to be against the rules to kick the ball, but that was changed quite a few years ago. Not sure how long ago, but I think something like 20 years ago.

OK, yeah, Google says that rule change happened in 1999. Before then, kicking the ball would have been illegal.

It used to be against the rules to kick the ball, but that was changed quite a few years ago. Not sure how long ago, but I think something like 20 years ago. I was confused cuz I thought maybe they changed the rules again but I know it’s not illegal Haha

Question the one kick saved by the lib was it called? I was more concerned when she dead-ball kicked the ball off one of the UCLA players. I was afraid she was going to be called for "targeting"...
