Yeah, sometimes you just win. Try to figure things out and move on. Hope Smrek and Civita are back soon to give them more options, but play better in the meantime. Civita tore her ACL. She's done : Oh noooooooooo. The same ACL? Again? Oh no.

Two sets were closer than I thought especially, obviously, the third. I thought it might be all mid to high teens sets for Iowa.

in the *nicest way possible*... BTN needs less Ehman on their broadcasts If it wasn't Buzzerio, she wasn't going to say anything about Iowa. And every single kill by a Badger - "Gotta start feeding that hot hand" or some iteration of it. For every single kill She's exhausting to listen to Ehman touts herself as a broadcaster who provides in-depth analysis, on top of being an experienced journalist skilled in Adobe Audition and Photoshop. So many options.

That's the problem!! It exists only in theory. It shouldn’t be this difficult …. The middles will close out if you just seal the freaking pin…. It’s like the freshmen think playing either outside just entails hitting hard.

Oh noooooooooo. The same ACL? Again? Oh no. im not sure. in my non-medically informed guess I would say yes, most likely Sheff said she felt her knee go out while jumping. Jumping up, not landing. That must’ve been a really freaking fragile graft. Explains why Izzy was basically eulogizing her on the radio postgame. This is low-key devastating.

I did not end up going to Illinois today, but I may pour one of the strong beers I have on hand at home tonight.

Oh noooooooooo. The same ACL? Again? Oh no. im not sure. in my non-medically informed guess I would say yes, most likely The brace she had on last Friday - but not tonight - was on the same knee as the previous tears, the right knee. But the fact that she was not wearing any sort of brace, and was dancing around with Gregorski pretty freely, makes me think that either a new tear is of a "smaller" degree or percent, or the info that there's a new tear is incorrect.

No "official" word on Smrek or Civita?
Waiting for Demps to take off at some point.

One thing the current group on the floor can correct to get where they were earlier in the season is the serving. They can control that.

I don’t understand why anyone would be surprised by the competitiveness of any of these games or the match. Yes, Wisconsin was always going to win the match, but Iowa has a number of B1G quality players. They are the 13th best team in this conference, and that should tell you about this conference. We’ll see how it goes. . . 🏐

Orzol with the reaching dig and blasting a kill with having almost no time to get ready to hit was a key point. Orzol was a little wild in set 1 but she did great on SR and ultimately saved the day many times. The block...well. hmm.
