Padova brought it from the service line. 13 aces. It was either 7 or 8 in the 3rd set alone. Unfortunately, they couldn't get much else going.
I think Loeppky can be really good but right now, his serve receive is so awful, the team might be better off playing Takahashi. For the little playing time he had, he passed at 60% (on 5 attempts), Bottolo at 37% (27 attempts), Loeppky at under 6% (17 attempts)

You have to have three players with Italian citizenship in your starting 7. For Modena it is Rossini, Mazzone, and Stankovic (who has Italian citizenship). Ahh stankovic… |

Wish he had 1 more year of this level vb under him. He still makes youthful errors and get caught out of position a bit too much. |

Verona up 2-1 over Ravenna, but wow what a fight from Ravenna in the 3rd set. They were pretty much a non-factor in the first 2 sets, then their defense and scrappiness came up big time in the 3rd set. I don't see them winning it, but that set alone was worth watching.
