At this point in the match, with OSU leading 2-1, Purdue is hitting .183 and tOSU hitting .168. (only .067 in that third set)
Purdue is out blocking OSU 15 to 6.
Grunze leads the match with 13 kills at .346

Are we still suppose to pretend Bush is an elite setter, or has the fantasy balloon been popped? All I read and heard since April was how this was going to be Purdue’s best team, maybe ever. Same ol’ Purdue. All the shiny engine parts and no one to drive over 50mph. There are at least 4 coaches in this league who would have Purdue’s line-up as a contender to win the conference or more. . . But they have who they have. A great guy. . .🏐 FYI Purdue is 3rd in the conference rn which I would consider being a contender |

Speaking of Jim Stone, he had a good career, but sometimes successful coaches get fired at Quick Hook U. Huh? Ohio St is not known for quick hooks on coaches across the board. Most coaches are around for quite some time. Heck Stone was the coach for 25 years I guess Stone retired, but I hope there was not pressure. Foster got fired quickly. I realize they struggled in the NCAA tournament, but they had 6 flipping league titles, 4 outright and 2 shared, in a row, and one season missing the NCAAs and he was gone. Ugh. |

Foster laid egg after egg in the NCAA tournament with some of the most talented teams Ohio St has ever seen. I think Gene was looking for someone to take the program to the next level and didn't think Foster had the right stuff to do it. |

If Purdue loses (as it looks 👀 like they will), it will be the big difference at MH attacking with Ohio State. Rader and Davis are so much more of a threat than Colvin and Trammell. Really makes it hard on Cleveland and Newton and whoever plays that 2nd OH. Hope Johnson is back for Penn State match Sunday. 🤞
