Drat! Congrats to Purdue on the win. Not shockingly, they are a better team when more healthy. I hope the Badgers can bounce back on Sunday.

Does that mean no B1G host? Wisconsin has a H2H win over Baylor. That's huge. Who is going to overtake Wisconsin? Baylor, Georgia Tech, UCLA and Kentucky are all next in line. But I can't see how any of them are close to Wisconsin at this point. The RPI does not like BYU. If the humans were looking at it, or Pablo replaced RPI, they would be the team if they win out, especially with how dominant they have been recently.

Just not a good match by the badgers. They are not supposed to error that often in attack. They are supposed to have a better block. The only match in the B1G they looked good in was Minnesota. Ever since the Nebraska match (and Civita going down again) they have looked jaded and searching for an identity. Even during the Nebraska match they had to ride Smrek unreasonably. Rettke has not looked very good lately. They can't seem to find any confidence setting or hitting out of the backrow - which they need to do in their current configuration. Right now I do not fancy them to win the B1G, or to get past the elite 8. Without Hart they do not have a structure that they can depend on on block or attack half the time. Without Civita, they just do not have enough ball control to manage. They will be extremely lucky to host unless the young kids grow up quick. I really feel for Wisconsin right now. Losing Civita must be as critical as losing Hornung. I won’t pretend to know anything about Wisconsin volleyball. It just seems like you’re describing how discombobulated Purdue was when Johnson/Hornung was missing from the line-up for Purdue. I wish Wisconsin good luck for the rest of the season.

That match left a really bad taste in my mouth. Just an apathetic, disjointed effort. The whole energy of the match felt wrong from the start. Purdue just has their number. When they played in Nebraska they looked like an Olympic team. No one seems to want to Big Ten championship.

The best the badgers have looked imo was versus MN or Psu

(Penn State was a three-hour trip to the dentist that happened to turn out well.)

The huskers can’t get in any kind of groove and Wisconsin is struggling? What in the world is happening?

Definitely a great year for the big ten so far though.

If they had stayed healthy, the lineup would have been set from day one.

And Maryland and Michigan State have shown there are no nights off.

Nebraska got Stivrins back relatively far into the season, though, Minnesota doesn't have Landfair (Miyabe returning and stepping in has been huge for them, though), and Purdue is a ton better with Johnson and Hornung. Not sure of other significant injuries, not meaning to discount them. Bottom line: I hate all injuries!

Loberg kills it…. At some point Sheffield needs to drop his blind allegiance to her.
She kills the vibe, Demps/Orzol at OH, Robinson at RS and Dana and Anna in middle
Sydney was off tonight…. Dana was atrocious
