OK, I sure will, I will do it tonight. And I will get back to you. Thank you for sharing

There isn’t a country in the world, past and present, who blends races, religions and nationalities that the USA is experiencing. The smorgasbord of countries. No one close. So eff the countries who actually try to criticize us and suggests better ways. Through trial and error the USA is still the best country in the world. We are definitely better than a few generations ago but still should and will improve. If you feel strongly against or embarrassed by this country, no one is stopping you from finding a country to live in who meets your narrow definition for a country and its people. Many of us might want to help you with a one-way ticket out.
BLM as does ALM. But you can only do so much. I would say one factual statistic that would help the black race in the USA, or any race in many ways, is to emphasize and strive for procreation between married people. Countless babies born to unmarried but able to produce people are behind the eight ball. So hard to stay above water or get ahead. Many do but countless others do not. Seventy percent of the black children born in this country are to unmarried people. A horrible statistic that single-handedly is the major reason for struggle. You have to see if you can take care of yourself before entertaining starting a family. Common sense and an entitlement in the minds of the semi-delusional idealist. IMO.

How ab we all just shun Boomerville bc it’s clear they get off on the attention Don't let a few bad apples spoil your view of this team or us fans. no worries the worst thing to take from this would be to generalize a whole group Over the actions of a bad Apple 😎

As a veteran I’m going to throw my two cents into this conversation. I didn’t see the event but only know what I read here. Even if I wouldn’t protest in the manner the players did it doesn’t bother me, that’s why you serve so that others may be free to have an opinion different for yours and feel free to express that opinion. That doesn’t mean I don’t understand why they are protesting. As a white man married to a black women with 3 half black kids, grown up in majority minority communities in know way think I’m black nor think it means I know what it means to be black but I have just about as good as an idea without being black. And there are even in this day differences with respect to treatment in society. I’ll spare the personal details.
The players silently voiced a protest, I’m all for it. Whether I would have protested that way doesn’t matter. They person who yelled didn’t reciprocate with a silent protest. He absolutely has a right to feel the way he does but he decided to make his protest non-silent and become the story in itself because he didn’t think the young women had a right to protest in the manner in which they did. Of course they did. The players protesting the manner in which they did not the yellers thoughts on the matter does not make them un-American. He just decided to let them know they don’t have a right to protest where he is which is not becoming of an American.
I see men all the time around the state Capitol of Texas with a confederate flag on their truck (which is the just about the most un-American thing you can do) and or some stop the steal sign or shirt. I absolutely oppose whatever it is they are thinking but their protesting in their way and I go about my business and let them go about theirs. Again that’s why you serve. I’m not going to interject myself into their protest just because I disagree with it.

I didn’t recognize the name right away but knew the story.. I understand, I get it. Let me give you another scenario though. There are hundreds of thousands of black soldiers, especially in the early days i’m blacks were disdained, who fought for this country along with other soldiers. If their family felt it was the ultimate respect to stand and salute the flag, wouldn’t and shouldn’t we do that? I grew up thinking that was the most honorable and respectful thing I could give the family if a fallen soldier especially, no matter who they were or what there ethnicity was. They deserved that honor and respect. As for Kaepernick. I think he is prove that his intentions were not necessarily pure or honorable when he chose to protest. Thank you for being civil and thoughtful.

I cannot believe the lengths some of y'all will go to ignore the fact that this country isnt some infallible beacon of prosperity and equality. You seem incapable of realizing that protesting by kneeling durijg a song doesn't mean you want to burn the whole nation to the ground.
Lock the thread, because this isn't going anywhere but in circles.
