Lawrence Welk: "Hold my Beer!" That song is about "sweet Jesus" and "sweet Mary". It must be wholesome. Yes it’s such a terrible thing isn’t it. Being wholesome.

I'm sure it was "reasons of time", but they skipped the second verse: I sail away a country mile And now I'm returning and showing off my smile I met all the girls and I loved myself a few And to my surprise Like everything else I've been through It opened up my eyes

No, the second verse is from the original version of the "spiritual" by Brewer and Shipley; somebody on Mr. Welk's staff was aware enough to not want his singers singing "I met all the girls and I loved myself a few..."

Ah, I see now. I thought you meant YouTube left out the second verse from the original Welk show because it was too spicey for the internet.

Which village let their idiot have a keyboard? Good lord. Oshkosh, NE would be a safe guess.

Yawn....so who won the match? It could be argued that Maryland lost the match and not that Nebraska won it. 25 kills and 25 errors for the Terps. 19 errors for the Huskers. I believe this is what's called an ugly win, although that certainly trumps a pretty loss. hahaha he said Trumps

But "one toke over the line" was fine?

Political statements are toxic. It's fair game, I think, to ask what happened. Beyond that, opining as to who is right, who is wrong . . . I hope the moderators put an end to such discussions on this board. god forbid there be actual discussion on topics which are way more relevant than some dumb sport. By all means, let's censure discussion. That sounds real American.
