In terms of setters-- they didn't have ONE that worked, so it became setting by committee-- who was ON and who was connecting -- Shields fit that mold for the most part at the end of the season-- but need to improve that position . Libero-- one passed better; one defended better-- I liked the decision to use a ds model and use Cooper as a serve specialist.

Updated thread for 2023. Sun Devils didn't have the 2022 season they would have liked despite have some strong players. Need to strengthen some spots for next year.

Ok now Geli Cyr is in the portal (that is surprising), and Stahlke as a grad transfer. Plus, already both back up setters, Gray and Snyder were in. Losing a lot of people next year. Makes you wonder if it is just coincidence or something else. In the middle they should be fine, but will need another setter and some defense help, which Cyr was great for.
