Pacific is a very aggressive team. It leads to a fair number of errors, but it's also a bit tricky to play against.

Serve/pass game killed San Diego. Pacific's 4 aces to San Diego's 0 along with San Diego's 4 service errors to Pacific's 1 was the difference.

Ramonni Cook led the way for Pacific with 5 kills, Edwards had 4
Frohling also had 5 for San Diego.

I like Madill at setter, but this team needs to pass well enough for her to get the ball.

I thought Madill was fabulous in the 1st set...she needs more chances to set with this team. It'll be interesting to see if we get to see Pries this game, with Wilson having only 1 kill on 6 swings in set 1. Frohling doing great too, 7 kills hitting .700.
I also thought Cook was fabulous in set 1 on Pacific's side...6 kills hitting .857!

Agreed. Both Benbow and Tastad are not having their best match...USD has no DS subs with play time experience though, so these two have no room for error. |

Here comes Terçariol lol, USD pulling the classic "pull your setter" move...but hey, it's worked for them this year - Terçariol runs a slower offence than Madill, maybe it'll throw Pacific off as it has with other USD opponents when they've flip flopped their setters.
