If San Diego loses this do they make it into the NCAAs? They still have BYU at home on Tuesday. A loss here would make that a must-win situation. |

Pacific made a bit of a surge after San Diego built up a 10-point lead, but it's not much, and San Diego returns with a vengeance to take set 3, 25-18. Down 1-2 now. Can they win the next two as well?

I think they're capable of winning 2 in a row against Pacific, but serve/pass needs to be more like it was in the 3rd set rather than the 2nd. On Pacific's side, they can take this one if they serve strong and can get some nice sets to Cook and Sherman.

Pacific needs to clean up their hitting...too many going long or into the net. That's how they play. They just go after it. I've seen it all season long. The hard stuff is okay, but they really need to stop hitting looping shots out of bounds, particularly Alexa Edwards. Those should never be missed. Such a waste.
But even with those errors, they are up 16-11 in set four.
