Good game, Huskers. Nothing to be ashamed of in tonight's effort. We played great in set 1, and we were able to keep that momentum in most of the 2nd and 3rd sets. Honestly, after back-to-back Sun blocks in set 2, I was starting to feel a Husker sweep coming. Wisconsin might've been too much for us this time, but I still believe that we can beat them. I think we have one of the most explosive middle combos in the country. Our pins are solid. We have a deep bench. And, I don't think there's a coach in the nation that wouldn't love to have the "littles" that we do. Maybe we don't have an elite setter, but I think she makes up for it with what she does on a floor defense, serving, and even blocking. Anyway, love this team. Beat Purdue. And let's go dancing. GBR!

If that's a way for you to feel better after this and all the other consecutive losses (spankings), it's yours. I don't feel the measuring stick of success is a national championship. I enjoy my team competing and winning and being good people. I've enjoyed watching Dana and Civita and others whether we win a NC or not. It's cute you try and minimize loss. I get it. I'm good with a competitive program and will be whether we win it or not. Lol If this makes you feel better, it’s yours. All mine...thanks! I'm pretty happy with whipping Old Lady Hames yet again. I look forward to doing it again in the tourney should we get a chance. For God's sake at 40 I could put on my uniform and set a better ball than what you've had the last however many years lashes has been there. I don't know how you huskers have lived through her setting given the talent you have elsewhere. 🤷♂️

Well I’m not disappointed by the result. We played one set above our season average and destroyed em. The other three sets were average or below. After this match, I’m encouraged and think if we see Wisky again, the result might be different. One converted overpass and one challenge that isn’t called wrong against us, this might be a sweep. Of course we’ll never know. Congrats to the Badgers on winning the Big Ten, I’m looking forward to no Rettke, Hilley, Barnes or Civita next year Nothing like optimism after 6 losses in a row. Bless your heart. 🤣🤣 It hurts, yes, but it doesn't hurt as much as having 0 national titles. 😝

On the plus side, if Wis can maintain through the next 5 points, Neb fans won't need to be concerned with another 2 point loss.... More bucky sheat talk.

Congrats to the Badgers, nice comeback after a slow start. Retke was her typical unstoppable self down the stretch—can’t say I’m all sad she’s in her final year. Good luck in the tourney!

Despite Wisconsin's recent success in the series, it isn't like Nebraska's seniors are the most fun to see your favorite team play against either, however.

It screams class...back-handed compliment is the way people from my world throw shade.

Half the thread was Neb fans talking about how they were tired of dropping each set by 2. Sarcasm is surely lost. Whatever

I feel like Civita has some victory aura around her that wills them to victory when they aren't playing so well (her own play of course helps!).

I don't know if anybody on here noticed, but if the 3rd set had gone another one or two sideout rotations, Akana would have been playing front row. Nebraska ran out of subs; for once, it wasn't Wisconsin with sub count problems.

Congratulations to Nebraska on having a very good team and fans that never give up (and always show up). Glad I got to see Stivrins and Sun (and several others) play in the Field House again, in person. Akana has a crazy difficult serve.

Did you happen to see Civita dance down the sideline to enter the court in the 3rd (or 4th?) set? She just brings it! All that energy really fires up her fellow Badgers. Great to still have her playing!
