Nothing like optimism after 6 losses in a row. Bless your heart. 🤣🤣 My late Mom always said, "act like you have been here before!" Wisconsin is a very good team, and its up to their fans to honor their accomplishments and not embarrass and diminish the wins. In other words, win with grace, sportsmanship, and class. Act like you have been a champion before. Amen to that.

Today was not a swell day for Husker fans. Ah, speaking of bad Nebraska Black Fridays, I remember Black Friday 2001, when I went to 4 volleyball matches in 2 different league tournaments in Normal and DeKalb, and it was shocking when Chris Brown for Colorado ran for 198 yards and 6 touchdowns in a 62-36 win over Nebraska. That volleyball season didn't end as intended for the Huskers, either due to Logan Tom and Ogonna Nnamani, which was understandable. Now, as then, the volleyball outlook remains bright, and another Final Four this season is certainly possible. Football is still in the West Division, which helps a lot if they can figure some things out.

If that’s the case he might not have a job by next weekend… someone help me figure out if it’s him but yeah he’s missed two HUGE botched replay calls in top ten matches lol I posted the best snapshots I could get. I don't think it's the same ref, but they definitely resemble each other. Attachments:

Lol If this makes you feel better, it’s yours. All mine...thanks! I'm pretty happy with whipping Old Lady Hames yet again. I look forward to doing it again in the tourney should we get a chance. For God's sake at 40 I could put on my uniform and set a better ball than what you've had the last however many years lashes has been there. I don't know how you huskers have lived through her setting given the talent you have elsewhere. 🤷‍♂️ let it go. you're giving all badger fans a bad name

According to the pdf versions of the box scores, the officials for Pitt vs Louisville were "Nathan Mahaven, Charles Fleet, Bill Kissell, Matt Martin" Tonight they were "April Fricke, James Kuziela, Timothy McKinnon, Barbara Zvonek"

Lots of friendly respect between WI and NE fans. Well not really, not universally anyway.
I only remember NE beating WI once since Rettke joined the team. Their first meeting in her freshman year in Lincoln. WI won the 2nd match in Madison. If I remember correctly, which I am not sure I want to.
Will not miss the Rettke fist thrust celebrations, not even a little bit.
Congrats to WI, BIG champions! A significant, hard and well deserved accomplishment.

Dear Nebraska:
Congrats on taking set one, you gave us a beat down! Hames may be your default player to blame, in the past I would agree, and for what ever reason she bugged me, but today I stand corrected and gained a newfound respect for her many subtle contributions on the court. Without Hames, the Huskers are losing three to four points per set with all the saves she produces. Hames picks up balls most could not, she digs crazy spikes, she sets great in system…. I use to underestimate her, fans blamed her, in reality she kept the Huskers in contention all season long.
This match, including the beat down of set one, was all Wisconsin doing (or lack of!)! The ball control was atrocious, I’ve never seen a division one team that allows so many opponents easy down balls into kills. The passing is a major concern! You points scored off Orzol this time around made for a closer match, she was awful! I don’t know why Sheffield is afraid to bench her and have her mentally check back into the match. She was playing so poorly , I wondered if her puppy had passed away!
Loberg hurts us more the people realize, I’ll just leave it at that.
Dana finally stepped the F up! And finally, FINALLY after 4.5 years she runs front attacks, the 3-1 was a huge game changer. About f’ing time!! She still needs to run push 1, and back off one leg quicks.
Demps needs to not just be the back row savior, you get her as confident in front row, like she has developed out of the back, and Badgers become that much more lethal.
To make a FF run, serve receive needs to really improve. I’m tired of seeing Sydney having to run a marathon all match long — limit her out of emergency sets, and more in rhythm passes, and Badgers are very difficult to beat.
Good luck in tourney, your destiny is truly in your hands.

I don't even know what call they're complaining about. But there were a number of posts about whether the down ref was the same as from the Pitt match, so I checked, and then gave them the answer. (I don't think you can call it "doxxing" if you can look it up as easily as I did.)
