Congrats to USC! They absolutely deserve a bid with this win. They will still be sweating on Sunday. There is not a ton of breathing room, and looking at the CSUN-Hawaii score, they should definitely not be too comfortable. |

I will accept USC not getting an at-large bid.
HOWEVER:
If High Point gets an at-large and USC does not - I will have to delete my account.

Tallish setters jump setting from the back row then two-handed dumping the ball over the net. I thought Martin was above the height of the net when she got the kill at like 3-3. Ah. Well, the rule is clear right? If her hands are above the height of the net, it's supposed to be a back-row attack violation. Close. The rule is entire ball needs to be above the height of the net for it to be illegal (but essentially the same thing as her hands). However, the standard among top refs seems to be let it go if it's close. |

Don't know if they'll get in, but I like that they did everything they could - adding and winning vs. Brown and then winning a must-win match in 5 to even have a chance vs UCLA.
