They will still be sweating on Sunday. There is not a ton of breathing room, and looking at the CSUN-Hawaii score, they should definitely not be too comfortable. Did that match start early? CSUN's schedule says 10pm PT... Probably some confusion with Hawaiian time on their end. Hawaii's only 2 hours back from California now after the time change. |

UW still has to beat WSU to win the pac-12 outright. A WSU win means they share. Not sure who gets the automatic bid in that scenario.

That's just so unnatural for a Stanford fan. Yet here we are. It's a very weird season. Let's face it, the Pac-12 is just a bunch of good teams, but no team is great. If we get one into the Final 8 I'll be elated. I expect zero in the FF. |

Congrats to USC! They absolutely deserve a bid with this win. They will still be sweating on Sunday. I would much rather see USC and Botkin instead of any one of those middling B12 teams. |

Ah. Well, the rule is clear right? If her hands are above the height of the net, it's supposed to be a back-row attack violation. Close. The rule is entire ball needs to be above the height of the net for it to be illegal (but essentially the same thing as her hands). However, the standard among top refs seems to be let it go if it's close. I can understand "let it go if it's close". Neither ref actually has the correct angle to judge that, unless it happens right next to the net. However, after you mentioned this I was watching for it, and yeah, on the last point it sure looked like Martin was above the net when she attempted to set the ball over to USC. |
