USC did not impress in their 3-0 loss to Stanford and they have injury issues. It's going to be a tough task for them to beat the Bruins.

The bubble is pretty ugly right now. And it's not even to say that USC's resume looks good either.

You have teams like Arkansas, High Point, Texas State, Cincinnati, Texas State, James Madison, and UTEP on the bubble range near the cutoff and next teams out. Almost all of those teams have nothing to sell on their resume.

Then you have a team like Houston who is on the further end of that RPI spectrum who has three pretty bad losses and played a horrible S.O.S but has big wins against UCF and Mississippi State (way better than the teams above). You have LSU who also has better wins than the grouping above, but even further out than Houston in RPI.

I think USC gets in with a win. A lot of fortunate things have happened on the bubble except for the Big 12 teams practically all clinging to each other and might all get in. The SEC bubble teams may have mostly all played themselves out.

I think anything can happen to this UCLA team sans Luper. ESPECIALLY if it’s an LA battle. Go Bruins but would be great for the Trojans to squeak something out.
