I had mentioned in another post that UCLA's depth of run in the NCAAs would depend on how the players filling Luper's role performed... whether they performed above expectations.
So far, Jacobs is not even perforning TO expectations... serve receive, attack, or back row defense. I give her credit for swinging away hard, which at least leaves room to dial it in eventually.
