It doesn’t matter the reason, its just a bad look. Players work hard to get in a position to host a tournament game. UCLA has by far the worst atmosphere of the host. You tell the players, “Well that’s LA.” Like I understand that there’s other things to do in LA, but its still bad that the arena is empty.

It baffles me. I assume it baffles the others.

But it is an accurate observation. In a city, I dunno, 30 times the size of Madison and with a student population of very much the same size, Wisconsin draws more fans to the August red-vs-white scrimmage than UCLA draws for an NCAA tournament match.
