I hate this excuse that people use for LA. “There’s so much else you can do”, the Lakers didn’t play, Clippers are in Sacramento, Kings didn’t play, UCLA doesn’t have any other teams playing, USC doesn’t have any teams playing. So this is arguably the only sports event in LA tonight (sorry if i missed a team). Its the end of the semester for most universities. There’s just no atmosphere at the UCLA game. So the lack of fans is just a bad look. If it's an 'excuse', what's the real reason people don't attend? I'm pretty sure the point isn't that there's other sports going on, but that, people aren't as interested in sports in a city like LA. It's a different culture! Must be why the Dodgers draw 3 million a year (Born and raised in WI, 25 resident of Torrance. Hermosa)

Love seeing Luper back on the floor. Just a serving sub for now.

But I don't see the equivalence. Again, I'm waiting for the 'real' reason?

But I don't see the equivalence. Again, I'm waiting for the 'real' reason? It doesn’t matter the reason, its just a bad look. Players work hard to get in a position to host a tournament game. UCLA has by far the worst atmosphere of the host. You tell the players, “Well that’s LA.” Like I understand that there’s other things to do in LA, but its still bad that the arena is empty.

But I don't see the equivalence. Again, I'm waiting for the 'real' reason? It baffles me. I assume it baffles the others. But it is an accurate observation. In a city, I dunno, 30 times the size of Madison and with a student population of very much the same size, Wisconsin draws more fans to the August red-vs-white scrimmage than UCLA draws for an NCAA tournament match. It baffles me.

There are like a million people who play volleyball in LA and they can't hire anyone to do color commentary for an NCAA match? UCLA is so embarrassing.

UCF always gets back into it when May is back row. Why not flip the dial so Melville is in front when May is back row?

We can take Dodson out please. She isn't helping at all, and Martin needs to stop setting her in the front. Doesn't help that UCLA is not passing well all of a sudden.
