Serve, Receive, Set Serve: In sets 1 & 2 the most disappointing aspect. They served tentative, constant lollipops to the libero is not going to get it done. UW in system with their size is hard to block.Receive: The Texas passing continues, sets 1 and 2 were what we were hoping wouldn’t happen. Out of system against a big block is a bad look. Sets 3-5 we seemed to tighten up. I’m sure someone with stats will contradict me but my eyes watching live did not see it as much of an issue from 3-5. Set: Jhenna was ok 1-2 but out of system just did not help and the offense was running way too slow to counter the UW size. Feel like the speed of sets picked up and Jhenna has really dealing in 3-5. The speed and athleticism of Texas really caused problems for the UW defense in 3-5. Through the first 2.5 sets, my match summary was pretty simple: Texas couldn't keep Washington off the net (due to ineffective serving). |

What happened that 3rd set? Then hit less than 10% the last 2 sets? Honestly… Huskies were ahead but O’ Neal had an amazing dig in the back row and it was down hill from there for the huskies. That dig by O’Neal was the game changer! Everything went Texas’s way after that |

Honestly… Huskies were ahead but O’ Neal had an amazing dig in the back row and it was down hill from there for the huskies. That dig by O’Neal was the game changer! Everything went Texas’s way after that Texas woke up and realized they can come back. Asjia is the poster child of coming back from adversity on our team! |

I would argue that Cook not using his challenge at 15-10 in the 3rd was the key. The serve hit Eggleston when she tried to Myagi out of the way and it was not called. Cook had the card in his hand, was up 2-0 and still had 3 challenges left. Use that there, get the point and Washington goes up 16-10 instead of 15-11 and instead of being down 24-22, tied at 23's. |

She's fun to watch! Of all the times I've seen her play, I've never seen her get in a rut. Maybe a missed her serve here or there (but she makes up for it with aces) but she's a constant steady on this Texas team and I love that in a player! |

That's a tell-tale sign of one's passing. Usually when the passing is there, your middle should be your first option. But Washington had Texas in a funk with their passing early on. |
