Texas needs to continue to run a fast offense. Washington is big and physical. And of course the passing. More thoughts later but for now Serve, Receive, Set.

Should be a heck of a matchup. One of the most intriguing regional matches IMO along with BYU/Purdue. Washington was a preseason Final Four favorite and finally looks like the team I think most expected them to be all season. I think Texas should win based on talent and physicality but what bodes well for Washington is they are phenomenal at eeking out close games, so if they can keep things tight I think they'll have the edge in pressure situations. I could see them winning 3-1 while getting blown out in the 1 game loss and eeking out the other games by 2-3 points.

This is a toss up to me. At this point in the season, whoever applies the most pressure consistently will win. Both teams can operate well OOS. In system, I think Texas has an edge. OOS, I give a slight edge to UW.
