Looks like MN Select, Tri-State and KC Power all received bids this weekend, all via trickle down. Fairly certain Select won their bid outright and not via trickle down. They were top four in the tournament. But I could be wrong about the trickle down part. Yep, you are correct. They tied for 3rd with OT so technically they qualified with no trickle down. My apologies.

Absolute continued domination by Dynasty 16 Black this weekend at MEQ. The entire team is very poised and polished all the way around as again, they did not drop a set all weekend. The only team that pushed them this was KC Power in the semi. Scrappy back row play by KC in the second set made it a little interesting, as Janelle Green did everything she could to distribute the ball to her crew. In the end, Abi Mullen, Carlie Cisneros and Skylar Pierce did not bat an eye and shut the place down all weekend. The Dynasty back row play, setting and ball movement was just too much to overcome. When a team made an adjustment to try to contain Pierce they quickly distributed the ball to other weapons and then would come back to Pierce. I contniue to be impressed with the 16's division on a whole, but this Dynasty team and a few others are on a complete other level. Thank you for your observations, I appreciate the insights =)

At the PNQ 18 Open, I believe that NPJ, Excel NW (is this different than 18 National Red?), and Renovators secured bids since 3 teams are already qualified. Games still in progress.

Curious at to what you all think the easiest and hardest qualifiers are. For example a lot of people say it is easy to qualify at PNQ but really difficult at Lone Star

For example a lot of people say it is easy to qualify at PNQ but really difficult at Lone Star Do not think any are easy, so to speak. At least in the Open, but Lone Star is usually very competitive. SoCal 18 qualifier had 13 Open qualified teams attend, that is a tough draw if you are looking for a bid. PNQ/MEQ are more like a last chance, still had Open qualified teams. Crossroads had been a very competitive qualifier, KC Qualifier was a good opportunity in the early season. How stacked, teams registered, is something that clubs definitely look at, you want to hedge your bet.

For example a lot of people say it is easy to qualify at PNQ but really difficult at Lone Star I think it comes down to the teams that attend. Lone Star (being centrally located) attracts teams from across the US and college coaches across the US. It's a tough tourney because it attracts many/tough teams. At least that is my assessment
