Hey folks! This feature is your friend with folks like him/her! Yeahhhh, I love gifts. Thank you 🥰 I encourage you to avail yourselves of the peace it can bring to your lives Wouldn't life be so much simpler if we could just "ignore" people who won't think exactly what we think? Well, it isn't.

That is exactly why she committed to Wisconsin as a FRESHMAN. There is literally no reason to begrudge the great Sydney Hilley for her choice to attend Wisconsin. Silly. She could've gone to any other great program, and went to our arch-rivals? What a selfish, disloyal decision. Hope she goes 0 for 3. And she would've been a three-year starter for the Gophers, if she would've had the loyalty and patience to wait and learn from SSS. 2019 fall, 2021 spring, 2021 fall. Starting for 3 seasons is better than starting for 5 seasons???

Courtney “Have to win by 2” Lyles on the coverage. I'm relatively new to volleyball, but the more I think about "you have to win by two," the more interesting it gets. Are there any other team sports where you have to win by two (or by some other specified amount)? For that matter, are there any other team sports that are played up to a certain number of points?

Starting for 3 seasons is better than starting for 5 seasons? Then go to Nebraska or Penn State or any other great program that isn't the state's arch-rival. Have some respect and loyalty.

And we talked at timeouts etc. about Sydney's major, her internship last summer and her potential job plans when the time comes with a couple different Madison-based medical research companies. And her grandmother *literally* said to me with regard to both volleyball and schooling "[Syd] make the right choice" coming to Madison. (And grandma sure knew her volleyball, too!)

I wonder if Caltech and M.I.T. have similar issues. Although they're on opposite coasts, they actually are arch-rivals -- academically. We are talking about institutions of higher education, aren't we?

Maybe she didn't want to play behind Minnesota's greatest setter of all time SSS. If you could start four years instead of two, wouldn't you? I would go out of conference, to a school that isn't the arch-rival. That would be respectible. So Meredith Nelson shouldn’t have been a Gopher?

Love to hear that. UW is a great institution and Madison a great city (proud to be an alum who grew up in Wisconsin). Minnesota is also a great institution (proud to have worked within the system at UM-Duluth). I completely understand and respect any Wisconsin high schooler's choice to play for the Gophers. Can't understand any disrespect for a Minnesota high schooler choosing to play for the Badgers.

Courtney “Have to win by 2” Lyles on the coverage. Each set is to 25 points, you know… unless there’s a fifth — that one only goes to 15.

Sports with nets in between you have to win by 2, maybe?
Table tennis, badminton...win by two.

We are talking about institutions of higher education, aren't we? Caltech is the best school in the country for technical fields. So if you're from California and applying to MIT, it just means you couldn't get into Caltech.

So Meredith Nelson shouldn’t have been a Gopher? No example (that you think is a counter-example) is ever going to disprove that she was selfish and disloyal for leaving the state that made her for the state's arch-rival.
