I have been waiting since we were robbed in 2016 of a F4 matchup

It was nice playing along with you Minnesota fans earlier today (especially against Baylor who tried to infect your team after the match), but here's to well played match tomorrow.

Two B1G teams head-to-head. I don't know who to root for. Guess I'll hope for a well played game on both parts.

I like the day off between matches in this second weekend. I'm sure the players will enjoy the rest. And of course, the coaching staffs have the extra time needed to scout the opponent, dig into video, and learn about the very unfamiliar players and team from the distant conference and school that inevitably comes during the NCAA tournament.

An injured Samedy does not bode well for the Gophers.

An injured Samedy does not bode well for the Gophers. Ugh let’s not start this. There is no credible source claiming she is injured. An off match does not an injury equate

An injured Samedy does not bode well for the Gophers. Huh?? I think the comment was in reaction to her looking "off" a bit the last few matches. She doesn't seem to be hitting with the same ferocity that she typically does. She's a "price of admission" type athlete, but it hasn't shined as much as normal lately. Karch actually asked her and Hugh about it in the post-match, which they avoided any type of direct answer, as they should have. I hope she's not injured and it's just a timing thing... but I also really want the Badgers to win

They waved — but then Yossi and Samedy hugged, which started more hugging and then it ended with the prayer circle.

Hoping the Gophers can finish off the Badgers this time, but with the match being at the Field House, the HCA makes it a much tougher task.
Can Demps not have the match of her life this time, please?

Samedy had similar velocity issues in 2019. She has also had the habit of not hitting with a lot of pace early in matches. Once 'warmed up' she hits harder.
Are today's athletes allowed to receive cortisone injections? As a recreational weekly player decades ago I got a new lease on my swing after one. Less pain and more shoulder freedom.
I can hardly imagine the stresses on the shoulders of these pin hitters who take thousands of swings in a season.
