Says the man that dominates college football. You know there is something to it if you have Nick worried. He will complain then adapt. He also said CFB should get rid of the no huddle hurry up offenses because it was unsafe while he was running over everyone with 340lb lineman and 230lb running backs. Next thing he has a Heisman WR, multiple 1st round WR’s and is throwing the ball all over the place.

This idea was disastrous from the start. Saban is right. Its going to divide teams and cause great resentment.

This idea was disastrous from the start. Saban is right. Its going to divide teams and cause great resentment. Could be very well end up being true. Also taking it with a grain of salt coming from Saban. He is dominating CFB as is and anything that could change that will likely cause him to speak out against it. Jimbo signed the #1 class and all but said it was because they could pay recruits in NIL money. If Okie St starting throwing bags out to Top10 vball recruits I’d expect Cook to dislike it too.

Not surprising that the biggest NIL prospects are from schools with large fan following. Particularly true in WVB where most schools have a modest fan following, while others have a huge fan base that generates considerable revenue for the school as well. Interest in collegiate WVB is growing so check back in a few years and this may level out a bit. Also interesting to note that NIL appears to be opening marketing opportunities for athletes to market themselves as celebrities in addition to athletics. NE WVB athletes took advantage of this aspect IMO.
