I wonder what the serving strategy will be tomorrow. Obviously aggressive, but to what level? Do we stay at the level of aggression we’re at and force them to pass around a 1.8-2.0 the whole game? Then we sort of risk Blossom making those seem like 3s, but it makes it MUCH harder still of course. Orrrr do we ramp it up even more and accept some extra service errors, making sure we’re racking up some aces and forcing a lot of OOS sets from the lib/DSs?? Probably start with the first, and if Blossom shows us she’s gonna be a magician with those 1-2 passes, we ramp it up. Make Logan and Asjia serve with even more pace, throw Parra in there, etc. Start with the first if it’s not working, unleash Parra as a serving sub.

I hope Parra is ready to go tomorrow, not that she ever isn’t. We may need her serving towards the ends of sets. And if at some point SD takes two sets in a row against us, the Parra lineup will be the first change we make, other than Bergmark for Caffey.

I keep forgetting to talk about Bella Bergmark since her contributions in the Austin regional. I feel like she was such an unsung hero; not because she came in when her number was called and put up huge offensive numbers; but because when her number was called, she was undoubtedly prepared for that moment.
Will one of our bench players be called upon tomorrow to fill a void in some capacity? Not sure. But, the way Bella stepped up gives me confidence that several other backup players have been preparing all season and will be prepared to contribute in the match if/when their number is called.

That was so beautiful. If skinner is struggling though, I feel like he goes with Jenna as the serve sub for Asjia so he can save Parra like he did in the Last match.

And, David Hunt and Ella Swindle began following Carissa out on IG. Carissa returns Hunt's follow and also started following Marina Crownover.

Husker fans haven't made a big deal out of it. It's been one person, and if you look at their posting history the vast majority of their posts are about Texas. I don't know what their affiliation with Texas is, or how strong it is, because they make some odd posts about Texas for sure, but I can say with a great deal of confidence they want to see Texas win even more than they want to see scores of losses posted on IG. Not a big deal. Not a crusade. Merely the expression of my opinion that it was really weak for the IG account -- after weeks of in-your-face posts after wins -- to do a total run-and-hide after one loss. "Nothing to see here, let's just move along." As if we are so jittery and fragile that a single mid-season road loss Must Not Even Be Acknowledged by the IG account. But yes I have been to virtually every UT home match for over a decade and I do indeed fervently hope they win it all this year. But if they don't, I also hope that the IG account doesn't act like the match never happened. Oh, it's most definitely been a crusade. For the rest of us you're the one who is so jittery and fragile that it bothers you so much. If they lose a match, the last thing I'm going to be concerned about is whether they post the final score on IG or not. I don't care whether you let it go or not. I'm past that. At this point I'm just going to keep making fun of you about it. Which is a shame, because you're a really good poster for the most part. But when you become a johnny one note, you end up getting defined by that one note. We all have to pick what hills we're willing to die on, metaphorically speaking. I hope this one is worth it to you.

I’d say at least at that baseline. If we can’t make Blossom run at least a bit, we’re toast.
