I don't think it is the Washington way to push current players out to accommodate these new additions.

I don't think it is the Washington way to push current players out to accommodate these new additions. We know, we know. It is that "maybe one" that is tantalizing, however. As already noted, I believe the existing team is in a strong position to contend for another conference title and, with some luck, make a nice run in the tournament. But this is like the hot stove season in baseball when fans can dream about what might be.

Unfortunately for the U it isn't much of an indoor transfer destination especially for eastern targets. Drechsel was an easy get (Seattle ties) and Rubright might be doable but I don't see the above mentioned players coming to the NW.
But you never know, stranger things have happened.

If we're going to dream, let's dream for Dani to get healthy and play at her full potential.

Well, Washington was Skinners #2, and we currently have players and future recruits from Florida, Arkansas, and Texas.

I am not trying to troll, really, is EMP coming back for next fall? I had seen that as a point of debate earlier in the season. Washington will have another good setter, but not her as a super senior.

"full potential" ? I don't see her ever cracking the line-up, healthy or not. No offense, but how would anyone know what she can do? From watching her on US tryout teams and from some practices a few years back. She was so far behind Hoffman, Crenshaw and the others. Drechsel (I can't remember exactly who the UW reps were that year but she was far behind). Videos of Wilmes are much more impressive, a player who will someday be a 6-rotation player. Cole is definitely not 6-rotation material and Bush and Endsley have her locked out of other options.
