IMO Orr is improving her game, not just setting, but serving, serve receive and defense. What do you mean serve receive lol Orr does not pass as she is a setter. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think they try to target her, so she does have to serve receive at times. Again maybe I'm wrong, not the first time or the last. My main point being she is improving her overall game, defense and serving. With that being improved, hopefully she gains confidence and her setting improves.

Just reading up about the typical convos of our setting situation. You all know where I stand, and after that MD game it's very hard to back up my push for a Orr 5-1. After that game it def isn't the case. But I'll continue to say it, if she figures it out, she will go down as one of the best. I mean she was one of the best ranked recruits ever, out of HS. She has the size, upside, defense, and IQ. Just really want her to get those hands back, it's been since her HS days... I've heard at this point she is struggling with confidence especially after the last game. I hope a spark is lit under her soon. I also heard that Hames is more than happy to be just chilling on the bench and watching/mentoring from aside. She really doesn't want to set. I would assume it will be awhile before she's back. Let's hope for a great clean game tonight and vs Mich! If you think Hames is happy just chilling on the bench, you don’t k ow anything about Hames. That kid loves to compete.

Again maybe I'm wrong, not the first time or the last. According to the official statistics, Orr has two reception attempts so far this season. If true, those would most likely be the result of a fluke, as by design Nebraska would always attempt to hide Orr in the serve receive pattern.

I'm thinking they're serves that clip the net and she's the only one who can play the ball but I don't recall them. Maybe first few games?

Where could I find that postgame radio show? huskers.com/watch/?Live=2378&type=LiveClick on On Demand and the archived radio broadcasts are on there. Cook always talks to JB and Lauren about 10 minutes after the game ends.

I just posted a podcast with Lindsay Wischmeier Peterson and John Baylor. They talk about several things including the liberos who have played for Nebraska, begining with Lindsay. Baylor shared a story about Dani Busboom I was not of aware of. She was not John's first choice to move to the libero position but he was unable to persuade someone else to do it. The fact that Dani did take it on and Nebraska went on to win a National Championship with her in the libero position is the rest of the story. Lindsay has been part of the staff since 2006 so she has great insight into the wonderful liberos who have played at Nebraska. She was also my last recruit in a class that included Laura Pilakowski, Amber Holmquist and Greicaly Cepero. If you listen to the podcast please share it with others. You can always find them at terry pettit.com Thank you. terrypettit.com/lindsay-wischmeier-peterson-john-baylor-on-all-things-libero/

26 assists for Orr vs Michigan. Definitely seeing improvement in the last two games. If she can continue to improve each game she'll make a good case to run the 5-1. Happy to see her succeeding after that rough game at MD.
