Curious what you guys think about Moore vs Grunze Moore’s more athletic and had the better performance overall, still lots to work on SR, blocking and hitting (everything really lol) but I’d roll with her anyways as she’s still the better overall player and has much more potential….I also think her going up against that talented and big Texas team is in itself a really good experience for her that will help her moving forward, she should have more success hopefully.

Grunze had the Taylor Hughes robotic leg on, which was probably slowing her down a little bit.

I just wanted to say, I had a wonderful time in Columbus this past weekend. Having never been to Ohio before, I wasn't really sure what to expect. I was able to walk around campus/High St. and enjoyed it very much! The campuses at Ohio State and Texas are quite similar, so I felt pretty comfortable walking around. The Covelli Center is insanely nice and it's great to see schools build these types of arenas for Women's sports (plus Wrestling)!
I wouldn't mind a return trip to Columbus soon! Thanks y'all!

We scrapped budding annual fun rivalries with solid regional competition like Notre Dame and Dayton for this? The "gauntlet" lol.
They scheduled like it was a video game; all the top teams with no rhyme or reason beyond boosting the rpi. Might not get the first W until we get to some of the "bad" Big Ten teams.

Notre Dame could have a losing record this year - you don’t want any of that. Also, a few years ago, Wisconsin lost all of their non-conference ranked matches and still got a top 4 seed. Just sayin.

I was worried about them not having enough wins to make the tournament but looking at their schedule they should still be very safe. After Louisville they could easily go on a little win streak and build some confidence.

If she's from Centerville, then she must have been HS teammates with the Wolverine setter.

I'm a firm believer in making your non-conference schedule tough. Although losses are a tough pill to swallow, you learn the most from failure and getting beat. Good coaches (of which JFO most definitely is) know this. Losses expose your weaknesses and show you where you need to improve. Keep the faith, the Buckeyes are going to be good this year, you're one of the most experienced teams in the Big Ten.
