Podraza goes down after a block attempt at the net. Looks like an ankle. Sarah White comes in to finish set 2.

Mac is now standing on the bench. I think if it wasn't Rutgers she would be playing. Some jumping to music during that timeout

Now tied at the top of the B1G with Wisconsin and Nebraska with both coming to Columbus later this year. Real chance to win a conference title for the first time since 1994.

Now tied at the top of the B1G with Wisconsin and Nebraska with both coming to Columbus later this year. Real chance to win a conference title for the first time since 1994. There are some big matches outside those that I have my eyes on... @ Purdue and @ Maryland... the matches sandwich the corn game and are major red flags for me. The Nuts play the choo-choo on a Thursday night and while the trains have not been chugging along as strongly as earlier in the year (and the Corn de-pantsing them on national television did a lot in that) they are still a strong team. The Nuts have struggled with consistency as of late... same with the Turtles who looked like everyone's darling until crashing back to Earth. I fear a major let-down. v. Minnesota... All eyes will be on the possible title-decider against the cheeseweasels on Sunday, but that Saturday match against the squirrels really sits uncomfortably in my craw. The Nuts do not have historical success in this matchup and if they are in a position to do something that hasn't happened in the lifetime of any of the current players on the roster... I just have worries. In the end though... the fact that I am even writing this is mind-boggling to me as a Nut volleyball fan. This program is in a different stratosphere from anything familiar to me and I am just enjoying the ride.

Great win yesterday to stay in control of their own destiny for a B1G title. This team is so much fun and I can't believe just 3 years ago the bulk of this team were freshman getting swept at home to Northwestern to essentially guarantee a 3rd straight year without the tournament.
Coming into this year I really wanted this team to finally get past that Sweet 16 hurdle and play a match for the Final 4, but now just that would feel like a disappointment with what this team has shown they are capable of.
Obviously the answer is both, but which drought from 1994 would you rather break, the B1G title or the Final Four? I think I lean slightly towards the conference championship, because it can be easier to make a run deep in the tournament and not win the conference, as shown by all the B1G school who have made it to the final four and haven't won the conference in the last 15 years.

Give me the B1G title. That's far harder to win imo, and a greater achievement than simply a Final Four. Also I'm pretty sure that one of those Carlston teams were able to fluke into a FF if they got some breaks against either of the UWs
