Guuurl if they land Madi Williams and Iosia….. I think we could at least get Williams interested. She already has the connection with Lang. She also has a connection with Stanford, indianna, Minnesota, LSU, UCLA, Florida, to name a few.

I was watching Caylen hit, she reminds me a bit of RW, but her tips are a lot better, but does seem to tip a lot of the set is not just right. I would like to see her hit as a Wahine though. I think the OPP will go to Annika, hoping she stays.

I just want to see Demirtas, next season. Keep reading comments from people who have seen her swing during pre-match warmup, that she has a "cannon" of an arm swing. She could be that missing element. I was one of those that was commenting that she has a hammer. She can't jump over a phone book but with her height and high point of contact she overcomes that. She just needs to work on her fitness and jump training. We'll see a lot of her next year I am sure.... Not to worried about her fitness and jump. The UH training staff will take care of that. Sounds like she does have the elements that you cannot really teach, though, which is a plus. Thinking it was Demirtas's decision to redshirt. Playing in a lot of club, and junior level, tournament before coming to Hawaii, she was just physically tired. One reason she was one week late to report.

I don't know Williams outside of that so I don't know her other connections, just commenting on the part I did know, lol.

I only see her as a front row player her first couple years.

You're not "breaking" anything for me. I never said she should be a starter or even playing last year. All I said was she has a hammer. I have no idea about her defense, blocking, fitness, etc....Obviously since they redshirted her she was behind the other incoming freshman.... Was responding to wahinefan and his "Need to remember" Sorry, so used to being chippy on here....LOL....

She could be that missing element. Sorry to break to you but if she was that good, wouldn't she have played significant minutes than riding the pine all season long? Thinking it was Demirtas decision to redshirt. Know she played in a lot of club, and junior level tournaments. Which is one reason she was 1 week late to report to fall camp. She probably was just physically exhausted.

Sad to hear about Leoniak but I trust Coach Rob will make the most with player who want to be at UH. They won the Big West after losing the starting Opposite (Conference freshman player of the year) and Jolie (OH1). 2022 will be exciting. Honestly, this news about Leonian leaving makes the spring even more exciting! Looking forward to hear some transfer news!

Robyn knows what it takes to be Great, a lot of hardwork, and determination, cause she has down it. If a player does not want to do that, and/or, does not want to play for the Wahine, so be it. Robyn only wants players who are welling to put in the hard work, and want to play for the Wahine.
