is there any chance a male even gets an interview? There is if Penn State wants to give themselves the greatest chance possible at continued success. Why limit the field of prospective candidates over gender? How dare you be logical when identity is really all that matters. I wonder how the forum's Karens would feel if a "trans-woman" (with a full set of twig and berries) was hired. |

It will not be Salima. Some things don't change, and the reasons she won't be coaching haven't/won't change. Anyone involved in the process knows the reasons and they aren't trying to change her mind. Next. There is no next to remain top program. If there was they would have been hired already. Prob have to face fact that Penn state is no longer gonna be top tier program. None of the top tier coaches seem interested in leaving their current locations and location is sure as hell not gonna sell that program. "Wise men speak because they have something to say. There is no next to remain top program. If there was they would have been hired already. Prob have to face fact that Penn state is no longer gonna be top tier program. Photos says stupid %*$# on here all the time but did he really just seriously say āat least you finally provided a useful function to this boardā directed at avid 2.0  Thatās a new low. Avid is literally the most impactful poster and does more for this board than some people do for their careers. I get that youāre just an old, mean, cynical person photos but if you actually cared about this sport you would appreciate people like avid who help promote the sport. Iām done replying to you after this but considering this an appeal to actually reach you. |

It sounded like, while Russ was retiringā¦. He wasn't exactly going away? Getting some definition around his role as coach emeritus could be slowing the hiring process for an established head coach. What is Haleigh Washington doing these days? I always thought she would make an excellent young head coach when she was done playing.

Also I have yet to meet an Prep player who makes a decision to go to a high level D1 program based on the gender of that coach.

Last I saw her was in a video crumpling to the floor grabbing her knee, so wasnāt sure of her playing status. I bet she would be an outstanding recruiter and a good CEO head coach if surrounded by excellent assistants. Coaching would put that philosophy degree to good useš |
