I also thought Kim Hill and CJ as a little distant from the team while on the sidelines and even during the huddle. Almost a little stand offish and awkward. Jordan Molina was way more interactive with the team than they were. But best of luck to them both! In almost every time out the coaches would huddle and talk before speaking to the team. Far from stand offish and awkward. Molina really worked well with the backrow players and was vocal for sure.

Are all the LBSU players (minus Williams) with eligibility coming back? Hope so - LBSU Has potential to be great. For the LBSU fans: 1) What are your overall thoughts on the players returning? 2) What are your thoughts on the recruits LBSU has signed? 3) What are the needs from the transfer portal (if any)? A six rotation pin banger and a middle blocker that is mobile and offensive minded. Since the libero is graduating a top tier libero would be great but hard to find. Overall the program needs players that are more physical. I am sure Tyler will be active in the transfer portal once again.

I do not know where you got from reading posts that they left for their own reasons or that Tyler did not renew their positions. No one on here knows for a fact, or may ever know. there could be valid reasons for a combination of both. It doesn't have to be some negative connotation. I would expect that after the completion of the seasons, Tyler had discussions with coaches and players which one would expect touched on where the program could grow or improve, which would factor in. I think it's safe to say both Tyler and Kim were in positions this last year they had never experienced and learned a lot in the process. Tyler simply had not been in a position of delegating duties, etc. That's a big leap for anyone who transitions to a managerial position. You previously consistently downplayed the fact that Tyler lacked head coach experience. Now it's your primary argument. Don't be a fraud. lol dude, or dudette, such negativity. there's no 'fraud' about it - such hyperbole. but nice try in the alpha dog department and effort to put down someone, lol yes I gave experience it's appropriate place it in the hiring, because it was not just about one attribute to look at the positives of the ENTIRETY of reasons for hiring Tyler OUTWEIGHTED it (it being the lack of head coaching experience, head coaching has to start somewhere). the past season showed the positives outweighted a lack of experience. There were pros and cons, as you already know, with the head coaching experience being juse ONE. You use the word 'downplay' to convey a put-down. It was simply a CON, doesn't mean necessarily it's downplayed, just given the appropriate weighting. So there! move forward yes, the hirings may (or may not!) and the outcome(s) that occured can be do to the experience factor among others. of course it is again one piece of the argument for THIS decision, which is only one piece of the overall performance as a head coach i enjoy reading those that try to inject hyperbole where none exists. why do that? maybe some self-aggrandizement needed on your part, lol it's a journey, no need to be so, shall we say, 'jerk-ish' about it, which given the context and language used in your post, you are a jerk I conclude!

I have no problem with people expressing opinions. you misrepresented context, and then use name-calling and you, do to engaging in put-down name-calling. ARE juvenile, as am I in this case by definition. whatever you feel you need to do to pump yourself up. You are a jerk!!! enjoy!

You don't even realize that Long Beach asst coach appointments are temporary faculty appointments and have always been one year appointments subject to renewal.

Jerk! Oh, okay, on second look, you're so right. This isn't confusing at all! Wow is an understatement. Wasn’t signing day like a couple of months ago? What about all the kids that both of them recruited? This could somewhat set the beach back a little. I also wonder how the current players feel? I’m sure some of them looked at Kim and CJ as mentors and now that they are no longer there, there could be some confused feelings on the team as to why and what happened? well, it is surprising it is surprising that both, still assistants are on one year contract

They looked uncomfortable. And I seen that when they were here when they played at the Stan. Again I wish them well and I believe Coach will find good replacements.

Top programs are always looking to upgrade every position and Tyler would like to elevate his team to that level. I will not name players since everyone on the roster are still 49ers .

Meyer, Chacon, Kennedy and Bacon provide a nice core to build on.

Who will be the new assistant coaches? What does Coach H want or need? Not sure he'll go this route, but his fellow ACs at Nebraska in 2017 was Banwarth and in 2020/2021 was Hunter and Reyes. I'd be surprised if he went for Banwarth, but she is out of work at the moment and has previously lived in Southern California ('15 & '16 Pepperdine Volunteer). The only coaching staffs on the website rosters for Hildebrand's time on the men's side at LB are '15 & '16 and those don't show any candidates but are their LB alumns in the college coaching space that he might consider?
