Relax! And stop bragging. Not bragging, just stating fact. Look at the talent level Robyn is bringing in compared to the talent level of the other BWC teams. There does not seem to be any comparison. aren't you usually the first to say the sky is falling and the season is over ... when hawaii loses a match or 2 ...

And it’s not National Championship talent…at least not yet. Hawai’i and the other top programs in the Big West are going to have to compete nationally by building exceptional team cultures and emphasizing really tough defensive play before they can start realistically competing for the top recruits in the country (and in the transfer portal). Robyn is positioning Hawai’i well at the top of the Big West. The next level up is going to take a lot more work, but it is doable.

If the BWC teams do not watch out, it will be the Wahine, then everyone else. Robyn is recruiting players to not only win the BWC, but to be able to win a National Championship. Whereas, the rest of the BWC teams are recruiting players to just be able to win a BWC Title. There is a BIG difference there in talent level. The other BWC teams need to up their talent level, not just bring in talent to win a BWC Title, they must start bringing in talent that would allow them to be extremely competitive in the NCAA Tournament, if not, possibly win a National Championship. If the other BWC Teams do not do this, the Wahine Team and Robyn Ah Mow will leave them in their wake. I do not follow Hawaii's recruiting that close but who are the recruits and why do you claim they are good enough to win a national title. Most of the top recruits that come in the conference are ranked in the 60 to 100 range but there are a few just below that. The last high ranking national recruits for the conference was LBSU's Mia Tuaniga and UCSB's Ruddins. Of course programs can develop players into top tier like Hawaii's middle. I do agree that the conference, especially the top teams, need to sign a few elite recruits going forward. LBSU has the most top 100 recruits on their roster and they look to finish 4th. Not bad for a first year head coach and hopefully much higher with the foundation being laid.

Unfortunately, foreign students are not factored into the Top 100 high school players listing but TALI is a 6-rotation outside hitter with international experience and plays on her country's national team. STELLA was named the best player in her home state (of Nebraska) this year and recently won the Nebraska State A Division Championship. Looking forward to seeing them in action in 2023.

Hawaii’s 2023 recruits are good gets for Hawaii: Stella Adeyemi is in the US Volleyball National Team development program and is Max Prep All American, and ranked 53 by Prep VBall. Tali Hakas plays on the Israeli National Team.

Robyn is bringing in some incredible talent but let's not disrespect the other Big West programs. Not disrespecting the other Big West Programs. I do like the Head Coaches at UCSB, LBSU, and Cal Poly. They are young, and I feel, they are capable of bringing in the talent to give the Wahine a run for their money. But these 3 teams will be losing some talent after this season, and would have to rebuild. Whereas, Robyn is past the rebuilding stage, more into the restocking stage. How quickly these 3 other teams can get to the restocking stage is the question. The other questions are, how long will these 3 Head Coaches stay at their respective schools, to see the process through. We all know Robyn will not leave the Wahine Team, and go somewhere else, she is here for the long haul. Also, how long will it take these schools to get to the restocking stage, and just keep rebuilding every 2 or 3 years. Finally, when will the other schools upgrade their volleyball program to become competitive every year. Cause right now, Robyn and the Wahine Team have about a 2 year, or more lead on the BWC teams, to becoming a National Championship contending team.

Yes, Robyn is positioning the Wahine Team well at the top of the Big West Conference. True, the next level up is going to take some work, but Robyn has set the foundation in the culture and playing tough defense. Now she just has to bring in the talent, which she seems to be doing. Covid put Robyn and the Wahine Team, about 2 years back, but Robyn is back on track again. It will not take Robyn, as long as some people may think, to have the Wahine Team back in the spotlight as a National Championship contending team again.

I believe I do, by just looking at how teams like Louisville, Pittsburgh, San Diego, etc. were put together to become National Championship contending teams. Robyn and the Wahine Team is following that same path, in my opinion.

Don’t disrespect the other BW teams. The conference has so much talented players that I wished were playing for Hawaii: Ohwobete, Ofoegbu just to name a few. It all comes down to good coaching and team chemistry. Talent will only take you somewhere.

These other BWC teams may have 1 or 2 talented players, just not enough of them, to challenge the Wahine for the top spot in the BWC. There are also, I would say 3, or 4 really good Head Coaches now in the BWC, hopefully they will stay with their respective teams for quite a while. Would love to see the BWC get 2 or 3 teams into the NCAA Tournament once again. That would mean, the Wahine Team is being challenged, in the BWC.

Hawaii loses almost their entire roaster and gaining a ton of new players. Amber is a HUGE part of the reason wahine win, without her it’s gonna take a while. Strictly my opinion but will be nice to see how it pans out.
