Alexander wasn’t first team stats wise. In conference only play her numbers were similar to that of Kennedy and Frolley. Her aces numbers also came mostly in non-conference so she wasn’t even top ten. Ikenaga also wasn’t top three libero in the conference I guess lol. And she would of made “first” team if they didn’t split it this year. It’s just odd to see one of the best freshman to date in the big west not make first team Like you said, only cause its split now is why a freshman doesn’t make it. I think Peed was robbed of first team. Stockham had good offensive numbers but everyone knew in the conference knew her passing wasn’t great but unfortunately passing isn’t really taken into account of voting. Peed should have taken her spot IMO |

Imo Wilson is a little overrated. I could see her on second team over peed too. |

I believe the main reason Tayli Ikenaga did not even make the Honorable Mention Team is that she missed 3 matches due to injuring her ankle. Think, if she did not miss those 3 matches due to the injury, she would have at least made the Honorable Mention Team.

Really Happy Riley Wagoner got recognized. She has put in a lot of work to improve, and become the main attacker on the Outside. If there was a Most Improved Player award, she would definitely get it.

I think it’s because she doesn’t have the numbers against her peers to support being on a team. She is important to Hawaii but by the numbers she doesn’t dig too many balls. Not sure what her passing numbers are today but early in the season it was under 2. |

All well deserved. I do wish there was a "Most Valuable Sub" category for Kendra Ham. She was phenomenal this year. Her back row play was stellar. Don't know how many digs she got (and her aces!) but I am sure it was plenty even though she only played 3 rotations which makes it even more impressive...

I truly hope BWC Teams start bringing in some elite players to make the Conference Stronger, and give the Wahine Team some competition. Well at least, the Top 4 or 5 teams anyway.
