wow, I didn't fully realize Purdue was losing so much.
Shondell's got his work cut out for him.

Yikes, so many font and sizing errors. I’ll have to fix those on Monday 😅
Although not too shabby for my first post.

Definitely a drop in talent and the rankings, but I fully believe Purdue will be a top 25 team next season and among the top 4/5 of the Big Ten. That may be my personal bias speaking, but the team still has a lot of talent. Just a matter of putting it all together.

So Shondell is going after "hometown girl" transfers with two originally from Lafayette? Interesting strategy!
Is Salima Rockwell going to mess with Purdue's ability to recruit in Indiana?...or does it boil down to wanting to play in the B1G?

Do any of the MB’s have experience on the right and the ability to step into a Cleveland type role? Seems like a glut of talent there and unsteady options on the pins. Not sure who’s going to play all-around.

How do you rank the players, by position?

How do you rank the players, by position? This seems like a fun task to do before bed: Setter: Renner, Balensiefer, Yim - while a senior transfer setter has the experience, I think Renner brings more physicality and plenty of time with the B squad. I hope her knee has recovered and she’s ready to finally get some playing time. Balensiefer may start at the beginning of the season, but I think Renner wins the job. OH: Ellis, Chinn, Koch, Hornung, Warren, Rastovski - Warren out of Texas I think will surprise - physical and athletic but like every other outside hitter on this roster, passing is a concern. Which is probably why Ali Hornung is listed as an OH/DS. Even though she has limited experience at this level, she came highly decorated and if she’s anything like her sister she will be great. Gets me thinking, would Shondell use a 5’10 OH in the Big Ten? Judging by the passing woes on this team it’s an interesting take. Middle: Colvin, Trammel and then a wide gap between them and M Brown, Myers, Carr. I think I’ve seen M Brown play one set, Myers unseen and obviously 6-6 Carr is a freshman. Opposite: Koch —— ?? M Brown or Myers? Literally nobody really to fill in for the All-American. Koch is listed as an OH/OPP and I believe she backed Cleveland up when she was out, so I guess she is it. Libero/DS: E Brown, Hornung, Schermerhorn, Torrance, Chacon - Brown was solid at Mizzou and with Hornung a possible OH, having Brown as Libero makes the most sense. Brown will prove to be the most important addition to the team.
