While a great get for Boilers it’s a public no vote of Confidence for PSU.

While a great get for Boilers it’s a public no vote of Confidence for PSU. She has a long history with Purdue already starting with her playing for SHondell's club team Boiler Jr's, I was kind of surprised when she committed to PSU instead. Now it appears she committed to Russ, not necessarily PSU.

It's very possible she might have stayed at PSU if someone like Salima had taken the job. But again, there's no way to know these things, I'm just happy for her and excited for all that she brings to Purdue.

So who all will be on scholarship? They have a big class of 2023s, right?

It was revealed that she decommitted from PSU in December (pre-KSC, so her decommitment wasn't a result of the HC hire) so I would agree with BuckysHeat that her moving on is probably reflective of wanting to play for RR than being at PSU for whomever else

Regardless, wish her well, except against Penn State.

Good for the Boilers! She's really gifted. Excited to see how they utilize her.

I think that the last highly recruited woman that they committed was Danita Merlau from Cathedral in Indianapolis. PSU, Minnesota, and Wisconsin usually gets the elite talent in the state.
